Power and Performance:

When it comes to power and performance, you can’t beat the X-Class, especially when it comes to the price. It’s equipped with a 1000w motor that has enough torque to instantly put a smile on your face. While most of its competition has issues simply making it up our street, the X-Class doesn’t even blink an eye. It’s also the fastest moped style e-bike we’ve tested so far, and torque is always at the ready just in case you need to quickly speed up or maneuver around something in your way.

Long-Lasting Battery Life:

With the included 52v 20ah battery, you can enjoy very good range. We’ve all been out riding one time or another and wondered if you’d have enough juice to make it back to where you came from. Customizable Riding Modes:

When it comes to riding modes, you have the option to pedal using 9 levels of pedal assist or use the built in twist throttle and use it as a full on electric moped. Out of the box you’ll get 5 levels of pedal assist but a simple change in the settings can give you up to 9 widening the power curve. Pedaling isn’t terrible on this e-bike compared to most of its competitors and you can thank the large crank wheel for that. The Shimano 7 speed makes it even sweeter, giving you even more adjustability.

Durable Build and Stylish Design:

While I’ll admit the X-Class isn’t the most stylish out of the group, it’s certainly not ugly. It really gives off moped vibes which we are a big fan of. The welds are quality and frame is well reinforced. You can tell there was a lot of engineering that went into the frame and it shows by how these bikes hold up compared to its competitors, which you can find plenty of examples with a simple google search. We also love the inclusion of the BMX handlebars which have a tendency to bring you back to your childhood.

Integrated Technology:

The X-Class comes with a small, simplistic display. It’s tells you exactly what you need and nothing else. Sometimes simple is better and we think this may be the case here. There’s also a built in USB for charging your smartphone or any other USB friendly accessories you might be using. The fact that you have the BMX bars it leaves you some great real estate with the crossbar to mount what you’d like while keeping it within reach of the charging port. We absolutely love the inclusion of turn signals which are integrated in the taillight. They could be a bit brighter but we’re not going to be picky!

Affordable Price Tag:

There’s one thing you can’t deny, and that’s the bang for your buck when it comes to the X-Class. It’s normally priced @ $2399 which is already incredible deal, but right now you can get the fantastic X-Class for JUST $1699! At that price it’s honestly a no brainer. There’s other bikes we’ve compared to the X-Class that cost more but don’t come anywhere close to the performance and value, even at its normal price point.

Honestly, it’s hard to find much we DON’T like about the Ariel Rider X-Class. You can’t go wrong!
